Kristen Kaus is a long-time supporter of music and the arts, inspired by the lifelong friendships and experiences she gained as a flutist, piccolo player, and pianist in high school band. She serves as Manager of Education and Outreach at the local non-profit TGen, connecting students with biomedical research internships, and also teaches biology at Glendale Community College. With her husband of 19 years their three boys all play in the band—her eldest an alto sax player at Centennial—Kristen is proud to support the next generation of student musicians creating lasting memories through music.

I'm a mom of three. I have two daughters and a son. I have been married for 21 years. Music has always been a big part of my life; I played the flute in high school and was lucky enough to inherit my grandmother’s piano shortly after I got married. Since then, I’ve made it a priority to start all my kids on piano lessons and it’s been such a joy to watch their love for music grow. I've been a big supporter of the Centennial Band program since my oldest was in high school. She is now a sophomore at ASU. My middle daughter plays bass clarinet and is a junior this year.  I love being involved and seeing the kids’ progress each season.  Outside of music, I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with my family, and traveling whenever I get the chance.

Board Treasurer

Hi, my name is Tiffany Aguilar. I am a devoted wife of 20 years and proud mother of six. I became involved with the Band Booster program four years ago when my oldest son joined the marching band, and I now have the privilege of serving as the organization’s Treasurer. With music being such an important part of my family’s life, I take great pride in supporting a program that fosters creativity, discipline, and teamwork in students. In my role, I am passionate about encouraging the next generation of musicians and committed to maintaining transparency, organization, and stewardship of the band’s financial resources—helping ensure the continued growth and success of the program through a shared love of music.
